This is 2 x brand new HID Kits in 35W H11 for low beam and 70W HB3 9005 for High Beam. Early models have 9006 / HB4 for low beam. This is for the later model with H11 low beams. We have a different package for early models with 9006 HB4 low beams… At 35W these H11 Low Beams are a driver friendly option being not too bright for oncoming drivers yet way brighter than normal light globes. HB3 globes and 9005 globes are the same thing. They are are popular in mainly high beam but. At 70W these are awesome high beams capable of outshining the most expensive spotties. 2 x 12v (non Static) AC Digital 35w Ballasts. (non Static) AC Digital 70w Ballasts. 4 x Ballast mounting kits. 4 x Ballast power leads – come bundled with the globes. 2 x HH11 XLX HID Globes. 2 x HB3 9005 XLX HID Globes. HID Trouble shooting guide. A guarantee there will be no static on your radio – watch for that with others. 35W & 70W – these are the best ballasts you can get. Colour 4300K – White. H11 and HB3 9005 metal base globes – not plastic bases like just about every other. Ballasts are AC Digital for faster brightness and longer globe life. 9.5cm x 6.5cm x 1.5cm. You don’t need anything else – it is totally complete and ready for insane super bright lights. You have a choice of light colours. I we dont hear from you we send the default 4300k (white). And we assume you need 12v. HID lights work by passing electricity through xenon gas. There is no fragile element. To blow a globe you have to physically break it. The globe has a small chamber filled with Xenon gas. A constant spark of electricity (an arc) crosses between 2 electrodes and it lights up the xenon gas. The gas doesn’t change form or escape and so it lasts for ever. You can expect years and years out of your HID kit. What’s more it pulls low watts so there is no burden on the car’s wires. Also HID is only 15% hotter than normal incandescent globes and so there is no fading or melting of lenses etc. That arc of electricity in the globe needs very high voltage and so the job of a ballast is to convert 12 volts to 23,000 volts. To be guaranteed of a really good continuous arc that’s not going to burn out the electrodes or flicker on and off it needs to be 23,000 and it needs to be a pure AC sine wave. So make sure your ballasts are AC and not DC. AC Sine Wave has smooth curves DC Current has sharp pules. We have new improved stock of globes with heat proof metal bases. These are the best HID globes we can source for 35W to 70W applications. The bases are alloy and not plastic. Plastic can melt or break when they get brittle. The wires are silicon coated to better insulate 23,000 volts from the ballasts (Just like spark plug leads). The wires at the base are covered by a silicon/rubber boot and not cheap heat shrink. Makes the back of the globe flexible and fits those tighter lights. The glass is precision cut and UV protecting for brighter light and eliminates fading of headlight lenses. The best grade Xenon gas is used in the globes. Each globe is tested by the factory. We pay a fair bit extra for these parts and the pay off is we don’t get the problems of flickering lights or dead globes or ballasts. Common question : Are they water proof? YES This HID kit (Ballasts and globes) works completely submerged under water. Here is a pic of a ballast opened up – see how it is fully sealed and nothing can possibly get wet, even if water did get inside the ballast. See also that it is totally digital and not the old analog style. As such it is more reliable and much faster to fire up when you turn it on. Also pictured this kit working while totally submerged in water.. What’s the point replacing rubbish with more rubbish – that didn’t solve my problems. I have done the miles and gone through the pain to find the best components from China, Korea and Germany depending upon the kit. Remember, a cheap kit is not cheap once you throw it out. I see it all the time. We use the very best ballasts. We use the very best globes. Remember not to touch the glass with your fingers, like all globes. If you finger the glass you leave a small oil deposit on the glass. That oil heats up to extreme temperature and the temperature difference between the non effected glass and the effected glass is so great it can break the glass. But as I said – this goes for any globe. These are considerably brighter than factory. Imagine 6 to 8 times better. So not just brighter light also significantly greater distance. What’s more, being 55W they draw less power and produce less heat than your standard lights. If you pull out your 100W globes in the spotties and run these you will have a 70% reduction in power and heat, yet probably 400% more light. I stock these globes and they are ready to send to you. They get posted same or next day via Aus Post with tracking. If you want express there is an option for express post (yellow bag) when you go through check out. I accept Pay Pal and bank deposit.
