Thanks for your interest. This Fujimi 1/16 scale 1967 Toyota 2000GT is a hard to find kit from 1989. It was the first Japanese sports car produced in 1967 and was said to rival the Porsche. And, it was made famous in the same year by the James Bond movie “You Only Live Twice” whereby the car was mainly driven by the beautiful Japanese agent “Aki” ferrying Bond around Osaka. But that convertible version was custom made for the 6 foot Sean Connery (so that his head won’t poke through the roof) and was never mass produced. Fujimi Toyota 2000GT 1/16 scale model “Enthusiast Model” #10117(Vintage 30 year old kit). Fijimi’s 1/16 scale model of the famous Toyota 2000GT. This car was seen in the Bond movie “You Only Live Twice” and won certified speed records with 78 hours of continuous endurance running. The model is complete and still packaged in it’s original factory packaging, decals are clean and bright, parts are still attached to the sprues, and all the window frames on the body and doors are undamaged. The box is nice, some shelf wear and a couple wrinkles(see pictures). This is a very detailed kit which will require some previous modeling and painting skills. Thank you for looking and good luck. Up for your consideration is Fijimi’s 1/16 scale model of the famous Toyota 2000GT. This car was seen in the Bond movie “You Only Live Twice” and won certified speed records with 78 hours of continuous endurance running. This model is a faithful reproduction of the fabulous original. The box is in fair condition. There are some creases and some fraying along the edges of the box. The previous owner had started some assemblies such as the engine partly assembled. In auditing the model it looks like all the parts are there and most are still on their sprues. It does appear the driver’s door has a break around the window frame. Should be easy to fix as the glass is installed. Thank you for looking.
